Pisa airport is the closest airport to Bagni di Lucca and is accessible from all main airports in the UK and Europe. Ryanair offers flights from Liverpool, Glasgow, Dublin, East Midlands, Bournemouth, Stansted and Bristol to name a few.
Other airlines such as Jet2 and Easy jet also fly from the UK and include flights from Manchester. It is worth shopping around for the best price air fares from different airports. Normally weekday flights are the cheapest.

By Car from Pisa Airport
Bagni Di Lucca is easily found from Pisa Airport. It takes between 45 and 50 minutes to get there by car. From the airport you follow the A12 and A11. The signs from the airport are initially GENOA..follow these then turn right following sign for Firenze (Florence)
Stay in the right hand lane and remember to watch traffic joining this motorway on the right. You will need a couple of euros for the toll. Soon you will pick up signs for Lucca. Turn off the motorway at Lucca there are two exits so do not worry if you pass the first one.
Follow signs for Lucca CENTRO ie centre It is one way. Make sure the wall is on your right hand side. It is easier to get in the third lane on your left as the turning to Bagni Di Lucca bears left off this dual carriageway. Bagni di Lucca is signposted from Lucca on the SS12. Join the SS12 following signs for Abetone. After about 20 minutes on the SS12 you will pass a beautiful arched bridge over the river on your left hand side. Keep going until you enter Bagni Di Lucca. As you arrive at the traffic lights you will see the house down the lane to your right Via Della Chiesa. There is a public car park tucked off the road on the left hand side at the lights, close to the river and hidden from view of the town. Cars can be left safely there for long periods of time with no fees.

By Bus from Pisa Airport
There is a Bus to Lucca that stops outside the airport and tickets to Lucca can be obtained from the ticket office on the right as you enter the arrivals area. The buses are blue in colour and will take you all the way to the bus station in Lucca so stay on the bus until it reaches the end of its journey. At Lucca Bus station you will need to get another bus ticket from the information centre (you will see this on the corner of the building where the bus stops). You will need to purchase a ticket to Bagni di Lucca. This journey from Lucca to Bagni di Lucca takes about half an hour. The bus will stop in the square at Ponte Seragglio and you will see Bar Italia and a bridge over the river. This is your stop. From the square walk over the bridge turn right and take the first side street on the left follow the street round past the church and you will come to the Villa on your left hand side. (3 mins walk from the square). Bus tickets cost approx 2euro 50 cents for each journey.
By Train from Pisa Airport
The railway platform is right outside the departures lounge of the airport. You will need a ticket from the ticket office on the right as you enter the main arrivals area. The train will take you to Pisa Centrale station where you then need to get a ticket to Bagni di Lucca. The train journey is about an hour from Pisa and you will stop at Lucca on the way. Outside Bagni di Lucca railway station is a bus stop where you can catch the bus to Ponte Seragglio as above.
Remember when you buy bus or train tickets in Italy you have to put them in the yellow machines either as you get on the bus or on the railway platform. The machine then punches the date and time on your ticket. There is a fines system if you do not get your ticket punched so be careful.
